Confecções Lança Lda. was founded on March 20, 1973, by Firmino Ferreira Gaudêncio, starting its activity on the same day.
Has as the corporate purpose the manufacture and sale of garments. On the day of its establishment it employed about 15 employees. It has been steadily growing throughout the years, presently employing about 230 professionals.

In the early years the company was focused on the domestic market. Currently, it exports about 90% of its production.
